Hope he's doing OK.

Bare contact with the parents' skin is great for premature babies. So give him hugs and caress him a lot whenever he's out of the incubator.

Yes, Elliot is 8 weeks premature, but it was decided that he was safer in the world than remaining in uterus. The decision was made at 4:30am whilst Mum & Dad were exhausted, so basically everything was taken out of our hands and just "happened".

He's doing okay though and with lots of luck and intensive care he'll be perfectly fine.

Keep your fingers crossed.
