Might be interested in your 3Chip-SNES multi region mod quick-installation design incl. a RG-LED. How easy is it to install for beginners?

Most critical part is removing the CIC, lifting the pins of the S-PPUs and safely connect a wire there. The rest is a peace of cake ;)
Here is a brief installation paper.

Just saw this thread, I've been using borti4938's stuff for quite some time now - not only they work awesome but the quality and components are top notch . The SuperCIC/IGR boards are a piece of art!

Just replying to say I got my RGB-bypass boards from bortie4938 :)
The boards work beautifully and as always the support provided was stellar - not only for the boards themselves but other snes things as well!
The biggest improvement was the RGB-bypass board for the older 3-chip snes I own, the board provided a quality bump in RGB picture - very happy about it. I don't think one can get a better picture output from these SNES revisions . You cannot reach the sharpness/clarity of a 1-chip SNES but compared to the original amp bortie4938's bypass is a big step ahead in terms of picture quality.

Here is the 3-chip version installed:

    and the 1-chip:

IMHO a must for anyone "serious" about the SNES. :)
