We have all seen the boss / mini boss from level 1, and level 2’s mini boss can be seen just before the game crashes, but I thought I’d share some images of the bosses that are inaccessible within a normal play-through of the game for those who haven't seen them. I haven’t figured out how to continue playing beyond the crash points though, these are just screens from the cutscenes. Level 2: Boss (Baby Spider) Level 4: Boss ('Incubation Boss' - Stage 1) | Mini-Boss (Volcano Monster?) | Final Boss ('Incubation Boss' - Stage 2) Cutscene 1 | Cutscene 2 Level 6: Mini-Boss? (Possessed Asteroid?) | Boss? (Alien Queen?) Cutscene 1 | Cutscene 2
Holly shit! Oh man, you are a star in finding this stuff. It seems there is a pretty full game on the Geist Disc. We just need a talented individual to figure out how to get them all in to a playable format.
Glad you guys like them. I've just updated the original post. Here's one that's quite interesting. It shows where the lava-filled cave from the promo video leads. Considering the thing you meet on the other side is seen spitting out enemies in the opening cutscene, I'd say that it's more than likely the final boss (Alien Queen).
This is epic News and to me a million time more interesting than the Pluto that was found (which is also cool but is basically a normal Saturn with built in modem from the looks of it.) I really hope someone can rebuild Gist Force to feature all of these cool sections.
Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool I thought I heard something a few months ago about relinking files on mac osx and somehow this might result in some greater capabilities - any news on that?
Don't see how. Linking files on a mac or PC would be just the same along as both systems could show the same files.
Isn't there some consoles (dev kits and/or early va0) that don't crash? Would be interesting to flash a early va0 bios to see if it works better. Also, idk if vmu support is implemented in geist, but if so the non-crashing consoles could save then distribute that for others to circumvent the crash-inducing event.
