    Good evening all!

I bought a domain name on eBay, the seller sent me a Nominet transfer request which I paid for after creating an account, and Nominet now shows that I am the current registrant. However, the registRAR shows GoDaddy.com, and I have no idea what happens now. I tried creating an account with GoDaddy, but it doesn't seem to have a "let me see my shiney new domain" button, only options and price lists for transferring the whole thing over again (which I tried, it says "not available for transfer", as I kind of expected).

Does anyone know where I go from here?

    Cheers

Ahh I got it! The transfer wasn't fully complete, the guy was waiting for my GoDaddy username. All done now!

Odd how I couldn't find any info on how this is supposed to be done (past the Nominet part), and I thought I was a master Googler :(

Godaddy's help system explains it all.

Of course, Godaddy suck and I'd never use them again! ;)

You didn't have to use Godaddy at all. You just get him to change the registrant to you, unlock the domain and give you the AUTH code, then you initiate the transfer with your registrar. Simple! It does take a while, though.
