A friend has given me a Devkit to look at, i'm told that has been killed by a malicious xex. After running this xex he says the console's screen went black, he powered it off then back on and it showed 3 red lights, now when he power's it on nothing happens at all.

Is there anything i can do for him given that the console will not power on now? it doesn't look to have been opened before and the RT63 was not removed or the U6T2 bridged.

He has a nand backup with the kits CPU key if this of any use.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds like it was a NAND eraser vs an efuse fucker. If you have a NAND-X you can simply plug it into the onboard headers and flash back the image you have, should get you up and running.

Thanks for the advice Doom, flashed the backed up nand and the 360 powered on / booted first time after that!

I never expected it would be such a simple fix like that to be honest, cheers.

I found that you can use a tool called xbox recover along with the sidecar drivers to read write your nand.

Cheers for the info, is that a tool you would be able to link to?

A search on Google didn't find anything of use.
