God, I can imagine her house now. Those tacky, glittery new-age hippy portraits of dolphins fucking EVERYWHERE, along with a few pictures of native Americans and wolves. Racks upon racks of dolphin song CDs. Ugh.

 

It's 'odd' in a way, but people marrying animals can legally happen in Holland , as long as the human partner doesn't 'abuse' the animal in a harmful way - although I think they re looking into banning cross-species marriages.

 

I'm pretty open minded, if she wants to think she's in a relationship with a dolphin then that's fine by me, as long as she's treating it ok. I suppose if she wants to call it "marriage" then who am I to tell her not to? As far as I'm concerned, though, she's lost the plot.

It's true. Jewish women over 35 years old pretty much marry anything. Anything to stop their jewish mom from giving her bad-guilt for not settling down.

LOL - I am with you on that one! This is probably a spoof reaction to another online story that's doing the rounds about an Indian guy who was caught getting friendly with a goat. The goats owner & village elders decided that the guy had to do the decent thing and marry the animal. I first read that story in Private Eye a while back and since then I've seen / heard it a few times online, radio and TV. I'm sure it's another urban myth.
