Hi. The television I have been playing my games on mysteriously stopped showing the video(A/V chord hook-up). I can still hear the sound, but for any system, the video does not show. Does anyone know how to repair this problem? I understand RF will work, but I do not have an RF adapter for multiple systems of mine. Please respond, thanks.

I assume that you are using a composite (RCA plug) type connection? If so, are you constantly physically changing plugs around on the TV when you hook up your different systems? If you are, it is probably just a broken solder joint on the TV RCA plug. Try applying some pressure in different directions on the connection when you have everything hooked up and should be seeing video, but don't. If the video comes and goes when you are stressing (lightly) the connection it should be a simple matter of re-heating the solder around the RCA plug on the TV.

Pelican 5-Way System Selector (AV/S-Video and RF)

This may work. I already own one of these, and have been working with it for a couple of minutes. I can't get it to work, but I will keep trying. Anyone familiar with getting A/V to RF with the system selectors(preferably the Pelican)?

Things that "get A/V to RF" are RF modulators, your video switcher is also a RF modulator? If so operation should be extremely selfexplanitory, if your Pelican switcher has a power supply then yes it probably can modulate.

Okay, it have a power supply slot, so I assume I need to find a 6V plug. Mine did not come with one. :( Thanks.

What, are you trying to see if RF still works? Just stick any sort of antenna in it, or if one isn't available, a metal clothes hanger. You should get some sort of remote signal if you try tuning something in.

I'd still say it's probably something easily repairable, though. Unless the TVs cheap and/or old, then it might not be worth it.

RF works fine. We are trying A/V to RF.

If RF works fine, then AV to RF will work fine too, that is, if you are just testing things. If you are looking at AV to RF as a permanent solution then you should be fine, but just know that there will be some picture degredation as compared to the composite signal you were using previously.
