Might sound stupid, but it might be worth trying to charge it from a different mains port. I swear I'm not messing around, I couldn't get my Wii U pad to hold a charge about a month ago, then I tried a different mains port in another part of the house and it immediately turned on. It's really strange, the original mains socket works with everything else, just won't charge that one device. Hope this helps.

I'm about to ask a dumb question but believe me this happens a lot here in Florida. When you were turning it on, was it plugged in to the charger? Also definitely try using a different power outlet in different room. If you have a bunch of power strips hooked up, it could be not receiving enough juice. The Game Pad needs at least 2 hours to fully charge on the included battery.

Maybe the power circuitry is dead? Have you sent it to Nintendo for repairs?

Hopefully the new one works. If it still doesn't, then send it to Nintendo for repairs.

should have a fuse inside if you wanted to try your self but would recommend send it in to Nintendo.
