With all the talk of the 360 and High Definition. I came to wonder what the resolution that BS High Def. channels are broadcasting at. Anybody know?

no idea mate. Probably thye same as Sky digital in Europe. There's never anything worth watching on BS anyway. Come to think of it, there's never anything worth watching on normal TV either.

apparently bskyb will begin broadcasting in hd format soon (the first in the UK). The fact that you can hardly find hdtv sets over here is a major mishap though! Although saying that our TVs are high definition than the standard resolution outside of europe.

HDTV's will come out here in 10 years and cost approx. £10,000,000,000,000. And they will be shit too. But you get used to it in the UK.

I thought BS had a few high-def channels... 720p at least. Too bad the programming sucks so bad you would never buy an HDTV unless you were into games.

And there's no actual HDTV to watch here yet! I think ProSieben or some German channel have some HD demo channel or something like that, but beyond that - nothing!

Ah well, I'm OK with PAL on my 1990 TV for now, no elitist "OMG IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT!!!" crap for me (for regular TV at least, for movies I can sympathize), after all, one is watching the programme, not the equipment ;-)

Well at least you still have the advantages of RGB inputs and the glorious sixties technology that is 576i PAL ^_^
