I don't know if this is the good forum to talk about it, i'm not even sure myself. Feel free to move it if i got it in the wrong one. BS-X Project... One of the newest projects i'm doing since a few months ago. What is BS-X Project? It is about reviving the Satellaview, one of the SNES addons, and also about documenting it. Also, i'm only doing that on emulation, i don't want that project to go to the real BS-X, except for documenting, as i don't want Data Packs to lose any official BS Datas. The idea is mostly about a Satellaview Server (without any satellites) with emulators being clients. What is BS-X/Satellaview? (for those who doesn't know) The Satellaview is an addon for the SNES, that only got released in Japan, which you can download games, magazines, and other data via Satellite. Obviously, we're not gonna use a Satellite for BS-X Project, but some Internet servers, which is enough. What's done? Well, i have done the first homebrew for Satellaview, saw how the SRAM checksum worked (so you can edit it), and made the BS-X "Downloading" something ! What to do now? Figure out the BS-X Download Data "Format". That's where everything gets difficult. So, i wanted to talk about that project here, and maybe make the first Satellaview server (which i want to do) ! Also, how am i doing this? I'm doing this with bsnes and its debugger, and also with hacking the BS-X BIOS ROM to figure out some things. In other words, i'm doing all this with emulators, hence why the slogan : "Reviving with Emulation". The official website (which has a very simple design but well ^^) : http://luigiblood.0fees.net/bsx/
