Guy couldn't figure out why the discs wouldn't go into it. That's because there is no disc drive, but a hard drive. Plus it had "weird connectors" he couldn't figure out.

Wii U version of RVT-H? I'm jealous of anyone who can walk in and find this stuff. My area has zero interest in games. All I find in thrift shops are books and clothing.

I think the kiosk units have disc drives. Someone posted 2 demo discs here before.

Yeah, I think the most important is "what happens when you turn it on?"

    Such a peculiar Wii-U Unit.....

Honestly if it is part of a wii u development kit might not be too surprising considering how fast developers have abandon wii u.

cool find, i got a PS3 test kit once as a "faulty" ps3, similar story really, but i paid £25....basically they where saying they couldn't update it and it wouldn't play any new games XD

i wonder how many dev kits and stuff get binned as shops think they are broken/faulty retail units :(

Well it looks like it has relatively standard power (not sure), sensor bar (looks like the same one as the Wii), and AV/HDMI (AV is the same as the Wii, HDMI is HDMI) ports. Not going to guess what the top ones are though.
