Buffalo SNES gamepads - Good buy?

Hey Everyone, So, I'm in the market for some Buffalo SNES gamepads. How are these in terms of quality? Are they as good or better than their Famicom pads? How much do they run for in Japan in stores? Are they easy to find? Thanks!

 

yeah, get some used ascii pads. Far better than the cheap 3rd party crap out these days.

 

I have one of these and it's not too bad, it feels quite but not 100% like a SNES pad, for most games it works very well and well worth the cheap money it is.

 

Are ASCII pads modelled after the SNES or the Sega Saturn? How much damage would that run me? I have Buffalo Famicom pads, and while not exactly the same, they still work wonderfully for the price (As Jamtex says).

 

The ASCII pad is better than the official SFC in my opinion. It feels right plus has al the extra fire options. Most importantly the build quality is very good.

 

I've had my buffalo pad for 2 years and it's still as responsive as the day i bought it...

 

I Had asciis back in the day. Good stuff. Very solid, as far as I remember.
