Does someone know or have some schematics to build an adapter or to convert some existing adapters?
I don't like the feeling of the GameCube controller when I play GBA games on the Game Boy Player and I want to connect the Game Boy Advance to the GameCube without using batteries or using an adapter to supply power to the console.

    Thanks!

    The amperage is important?
For example, an 5V DC 3A will do the job?
Now I see that on back of the Game Boy Advance it say 3V 0.6W.
5V I think Game Boy Advance SP have, here I talk about Game Boy Advance Classic AGB-001 :p

Amperage is never an issue so long as you have more than the device needs. For example, if the GBA needs 1amp, and you only provide 0.5amps, it's not enough. But if you provide 4amps, it would work fine. Voltage does matter though, to a certain degree. If a device asks for 5volts dc, then you should provide 5volts. 4.5volts might do the job, and 6volts might be ok too.. but it's best to go for 5volts.

Can someone help me identify those components:

That adapter named DC Power Module (AGB-008) comes with an AC Adapter (AGB-009) that have the specification DC3.3V 350mA. http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/PTsAAOSwWnFV8~if/s-l1600.jpg
Does someone have the diagram/schematic for that adapter or if someone have it can open it and make some pictures?

    Thanks!

    P.S.
A friend of mine told me that components could be a smd diode (to step-down the voltage) and a smd coil (for interference). Sadly I don't have another picture with the other side to see if they are more components there...
    What do you think folks?

If I only buy the AC Adapter (AGB-009) and then wired it directly to the - + of the GBA, the console will work or will not work? As you can see in the picture the AC Adapter have DC 3.3V 350mA.

    Thanks!

    It should work.

Another option is new old stock 3rd party versions. With car adapter as an extra, they're still under $10.
