Probably a stupid question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.

Let's say I've got an XEX, and I've extracted everything out of it using XeXtractor. After I modify stuff, how do I rebuild the XEX?

Nevermind I am a complete idiot.

Edit: Okay, I've got imagexex all figured out, except that it just sits there acting like it's doing something for 20 minutes, but the .xex file I'm trying to generate just sits a 0kb. It never does anything. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I basically need to convert an edited EXE into an XEX. I thought Xextool only modified existing XEX files?

Read the readme. It explains how to do that.

I'm beginning to think Xextractor isn't getting me everything I need. The EXE comes out at 40mb, but compresses down to 20kb...something isn't right.

Extract the exe using xextool then reinject then sign. Simple all can be done within XeXtool.

Or uncompress and uncrypt it and use a hex editor XD
