Now I have my nice new PC  I can save CD`s to files/play lists etc and re-write/burn etc etc But all the DVD`s I have seem to have copy protection Does anyone know how to find a loop hole? I want to save some of my dvd`s onto to my HD so I can then load them onto a SD card to watch on my pda-phone
Eventually dound one after loads said Macrivision had bought the product Now let`s see if I can put stuff on my phone
Some tools: Rad video tools, to convert file formats: http://www.radgametools.com/ GUIU4FFMPEG, to convert the vob files into avi, mpeg, or other formats: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=gui4ffmpeg Of course virtualdubmod, which you can find via google.
I agree with some other posts here. get DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink that's all you'll ever need  edit: the direct links don't seem to work so just search for them on this page http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/software.htm
dvd shrink (you can copy the whole dvd, or just certain parts) anydvd (this program takes away the copywrite protection and any other nonsense in the begining of dvds)
Try DVD43, it is a little toolbar application that overrides the CSS copy protection of any DVD inserted into your computer. Pop a DVD in after you install this program and you can copy them straight from Nero.
