Hey guys. I never really was into sound, but since I want to play games (mostly on consoles) in nighttime without disturbing anyone I decided to buy a headset and... why not a good one? I want something good this time instead of buying something cheap again.

I don't have a specific budget, maybe around 200 euros. I mostly want it for games, but I want a decent sound when watching movies and listening to music too. From the research I made I've come to the conclusion that I want a headset with these characteristics:

    Over-ear
Leather ear-pads (I hate velvet ones)
Closed caps since I don't want to disturb anyone. I heard that the open ones have more natural sound but they leak too much... :/

Stereo is the way to go, right? Some games though have a feature to make your stereo headset surround, does that work on PS4 or it's a PC-thing only? I'd like to have this option.

    I've found these:

What do you think of these? I really like the Sennheiser, though it doesn't support surround. Can you suggest something else?

For music/stereo games I'd suggest the Shure SRH440 or AudioTechnica ATH-M50X, those are very hard to beat for the price.
Most people can't hear the difference between those and more expensive cans (though not everyone, don't flame me if you're an audiophile that can) .

BTW, most headphones marketed specifically for gaming are crappy overpriced ones.

A nice website for comparisons: http://www.headphone.com/collections/headphones/over-ear
