My neo geo thread pretty much explains the details. The Supernova Mas makes it just plain too large. So I'd like something a little more compact. Where can I have one built?
There is a guy by the name D-Lite who built them and may still. He's around the Neo-Geo.com forums and some others. He has a website too. Unfortunately the name of it escapes me. Here's a Supergun he built on ebay for NeoGeo: http://cgi.ebay.com/D-Lite-NeoBitz-...ryZ13718QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Ofcourse it sounds like its not truely JAMMA compatible, not sure why. I'm not aware of anyone else that currently builds them for other people. I'd recommend staying away from MasSystems' SuperNOVA. Quality can vary alot, and in general I think the main unit design is poor. I had bought one in the past and when I got it, it didnt even work.I sold it non-working to someone interested in fixing it. I wasn't interested in fixing, I wanted an easy quick fix for a SuperGun. The problem with buying a SuperGun is you have to find someone in the US that builds them ussually, or buy a japanese import which is expensive. Are you sure you can't handle alittle hands-on wiring? I'd make you one but I'm not skilled enough to be making them for other people. One for myself is enough trouble. This is another option you could try. http://cgi.ebay.com/Arcade-supergun...goryZ575QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem If you had a MVS board with controller ports, you could just plug in an ATX power supply and play. Although you'd need to get a RGB to Component encoder hooked up to the SCART or the PCB directly. Not the best solution but it'd work, though I imagine you want something presentable. You should first try to find D-Lite and get in contact with him and maybe post on the Neo-Geo.com forums looking for a SG. Make sure to mention you need one primarily for NeoGeo.
Here's Multimods (Dean's site) http://www.multimods.com/ there's also KPJ from the neo boards, but he's not cheap. http://www.neotropolis.net/
