Hello! My sister (A flight attendant) is going to Osaka for 4 days and i told her to buy some stuff for me. I'm interested in Super Famicom and Saturn material, so, where should i send her? Thanks in advance, Nico
Game Tiger, Sofmap, Super Potato, Retro Tanteiden - basically you can tell her to look around DenDenTown (Nihombashi) and she'll probably find everything. The district is a little confusing though, it can take some time to realize where you are and in which direction you have to go.
SFC: Chō Aniki Bakuretsu Rantō Hen Kirby no Kirakira Kids Parodius Da! Shinwa Kara Owarai he Shin Nekketsu Kouha - Kunio-tachi no Banka Der Langrisser Saturn: Akumajō Dracula X: Gekka no Yasōkyoku Chō Aniki: Kyūkyoku Muteki Ginga Saikyō Otoko That and some SFC and Saturn controllers.
If this is her only time to go, then you have absolutely awful timing -- worst in about 15 years to be exact.
4 days huh..? for a newbee in that town to finding all those games it will probably take the half of that time i guess. just thinking about, that it may would be easier to get those games via other routes than asking relatives which have no clue about that stuff. just like to prevent some possible family dramas
Ah thats not strictly true, I mean the dollar did gain 3 yen since it's lowest level this year in the last 2 weeks.
Well , i'm giving up on the old games, since my sister doesn't know shit about them and they seem difficult to get for a non-gamer. So, im now looking into cool stuff she can easily get from there. Any suggestions?
It's still been at least 13 years since it's been in the low 90's and I believe 16 since the high 80's, and we're still on the same down tick. I don't think that lasted as long back then. It wasn't much later (1998) that it hit 148... I call those the shit days, as I was paid in yen (very little, relatively speaking), and paying off USD college loans. Boy, that was fun. I just partied and blew it off for a year. I don't keep up w/ South American currencies, but it's a fact that it's a raging monster over everything due to all the yen borrowed at their horribly gimped, (read: fucking retarded) non-existent interest rates.
The strength of the yen is killing us all, the uk pound is even worse...for me down from 220 -1 (aug 08) to 120 -1 yesterday. I'm praying for a recovery miracle as i'm off to tokyo at the end of march, but it seems to have a never ending bottom.
As long as no more UK banks say they are losing vast amounts of money and the Japanese governement do something to weaken th yen then in the long term the pound will recover. I can see it climbing to around 140 around March.
Yeah, for the ones that don't have to worry about their boss finding out they play Freecell for 6 hours a day and can actually take vacation, it's great. The lack of people travelling should be a good indicator that they are equally as fucked as us.
You make it sound like everyone who might have some money and holiday time is a useless office worker who does nothing all day.
i've been playing gravity hook at work the past few days.... its all i've been doing in my office...... http://www.adamatomic.com/gravity/
