I need to make myself a Female Scart to BNC cable, I dont want to pay 45$-50$ shipped for those I find online...

Yet It seems that I can only find Female scart connectors for Like 10$ shipped on ebay. Might be cheaper if I order more than 1 but I dont really need more than 1...
I bet no local stores here In Canada carry Scart.

Maybe If I can find some Male to Female scart cables on the cheap and modify them, then maybe I can order a few as I can recycle them into different things or cables for other consoles. But I only seem to find Male to Male on ebay...
    Scart Is annoying...

    Ideas anyone?

You could get a female to female SCART adapter. That's what I did. They're usually pretty cheap.

Pretty sure you mean in the Americas. I am a westerner and can get scart connectors just fine.

eBay has scart-to-rca adapters for $2.16, just salvage the connector from one of those.
And you might be able to reuse the housing.

"The West" proceeds the US as we know it by a long way.

Technically America isnt "The West" its the "Americas" but seeing as the US was a settlement of the British, it got bought into it. Much like Australia (which is technical Oceania).

Well, If you consider that Japan is in the extreme east and that Alaska is the extreme west, then you guys are more like in the middle.
So from now on I will call you Centerners :p

Yeah... the $40-$50 for the adapter seems like a lot, but I can vouch for the quality of the ones at http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/sony-pvm-scart-converter-bnc.html
The BNC connectors are of excellent quality, the quality and shielding of the cables is really good, the soldering is clean and professional... the only part that seems a bit cheap are the plastic SCART housings, but I've never seen a SCART housing that didn't feel cheap.

I make my own console to SCART cables, but with the "price per quality" of these adapters, I just purchase.

Yes, because there's no way anyone will ever travel to Japan by going west from Alaska. It can't be done!

Hmmm that sounds pretty good, thanks. I guess its the best option I have had so far. Costs about the same shipped as the single female connector I have found but I have 3 connectors for the same price, and possibly some of the soldering job already done ( Providing the cabling is not too cheap ) .
I might just take that. If I combine it with a cheap regular M to M scart I will save a bit on shipping and hopefull will have enough SCART plugs for the rest of my life.
