Without mincing words, I would like to know if there is there a way to tap D+ and D- signals from an official MS wireless 360 pad board such that it can be made to function as a regular wired pad via USB.

Understand that I am not working under some horrible misconception of the function of the PnC cable; I understand that it carries data lines for its own reasons, but I am interested in foregoing the use of batteries and the sync button in order to use the PCB in a wired arcade stick or such. I will not be using the PnC cable.

P.S. Before you warn me that the official wireless pad may not have common ground, I know. The pad in question does not.

    Please advise.
