Ive recently got a svideo scart cable for the C64 but for some reason I only get a picture in black and white. Ive tried multiple C64s and multiple TVs and the continuity seems to be fine (it has a 330 ohm resistor instead of a 300 but the seller tell me it should work still). So what can possibly be wrong?

yes it depends from tv model, I tried to get s-video through scart only one time to connect a c64 to a philips cm8833 and don't succeeded. for best s-video performance with a c64 I suggest a commodore 1084s model....fantastic also with rgb

But 2 of the TV's I've tried I know have S-video over SCART, because other SCART S-video cables work on them (and on of them have the text S-video next to the SCART input).
