I think many of you know the problem, you get new hardware, but need another cable for something like better picture or so..
Over the years i have now 3 drawer full of cable from hdmi to japanese voltage over SNES RGB cable..
How look your cable collection? :D

Mine looked as bad, if not worse, until I discovered Velcro cable ties. From there they are all sorted by console in Ziploc freezer bags. It is still a lot of stuff but way more manageable.

Managing behind a TV is worse, than a draw full of cables..

These modern TVs and inputs that a blind once you set the TV up is very annoying, and hurts my back.

You can never have enough cables! I hate when I don't have the right connectors. I'll take everything I can get. Mine usually just end up in a giant tumble weed until I need one.

I see a USB stick in the back, maybe run a four block extension placed in the front for easier access?

Yeah you really need to clean your cables so you can pull your multiple PCs out for an easy maintenance. Once all the cables are untangled, you could string out the cables based on component for an easy pull out. For instance, give enough slack UNTANGLED printer power and communication (USB or Parallel) cable in case of a paper jam. My printer is under the desk, the reason why the slack cable is so important. I can pull the printer out a couple feet without having to disconnect the leads.

With enough slack in ALL the cables a PC tower should be able to slide forward after killing or disconnecting the power cord. This makes for an easy upgrade access to the side panel without having to unplug all the cables.

As for that tangled multi drawer disaster get off the forums for just one day. Place each cable coiled untwisted in a separate ziplock sandich bag. One drawer for PC, another for all a given console cables and another for regular video and audio cables.
