Can a wii rvt-r reader have apps/channels installed?

It makes sense to me that a normal wii can have channels, but how would you get them on a wii rvt-r? When I bought mine, it had a dart game on it (see video below). How could this be?

Also, to my knowledge this unit hasn't been tampered with.

 

After digging around a bit, I discovered that the console was nicknamed n-Space, leading me to the conclusion that it belonged to n-Space. Could this possibly be different than retail version?

 

Did you ever figure out any more about this? The RVT units used a different common key, so the channel that's installed has to be different from retail in some way.
No idea how they got it on there.
