Totally as OT as it gets.... but thought if anyone would know, someone here would... I have a Nissan Elgrand - a pretty rare sight in the UK as they were only sold in Japan. It's a great car if you have young kids but it's a pain because nobody knows anything about it. Anyway it has a display which tells me what's wrong, except it's in Japanese - can anyone tell me what these screens are saying?!
That third one looks like a Road Service code or extension that you give or enter when you call their service center.
You're running low on brake fluid. But hey, brakes are over rated! EDIT: The text at the bottom says it will show you more details when you stop (this is due to Japanese law, I'm sure). The 3rd one tries to locate a service center but unless that thing has skis, I doubt you'll make it.
Now I'm starting to think my translation didn't reach you in time. Hope those brakes didn't give out!
Hi Sorry for the slow reply. I have a hectic work/life balance. Thanks - that was really useful. The brake fluid wasn't what I would consider low - like 1/3 between 'low and high' on the reservoir. However I topped it up to 'high' and the message went away. Thanks again
I don't know if that's some kind of standard, but my 25 year old SAAB uses the same symbol for the low brake fluid light. Funny.
