JPN Can I get some advice on searching yahoo japan?

Hey guys, im running into a snafu searching on yahoo japan and i was wondering if someone could help explain why. Basically, searching "development" (when converted to english) in various categories does not return results of items that have "development" or "ン開発用" or "開発" (both translate to "development" in english) in the title.

I've been running across this issue with multiple items. I will search in games/super nintendo/nintendo/sony etc for "development" but it only yields 0/1/2 results, while others that have "development" (when converted to english, or the above kanji's in the title.) in the title do not show up in the search results, I only see them randomly browsing or when they offer similar-product suggestions.

Is yahoo japan broken, or do I just not understand how to search? There must just be some "lost in translation" going on that im just not understanding here....but at the same time if I search using the actual kanji's from one auction in another section, it wont bring up auctions with those same kanji's! so confusing.

 

I understand what you are saying but I have never encountered any issues with search terms.

Can you check if the URL you get matches the one that I get (except for the category)?

Hrmmmm...very strange. Your URL provided me the correct results. Even though I used the same kanji , it did not give the same results before. But now it does?

I am wondering if there was a temporary problem. Or perhaps I am crazy. Likely the latter =) Perhaps it was all a dream hahaahha...
