Hey guys, i got yesterday a very nicely Xbox 360 Black XDK with MFR 15.8.2005 and it is NEW = never USED (not refurbished etc.)! :D

It has the 1839.2 Beta Dashboard and a (XEDK-1) 009-Mainboard.

Can i update the kit of a newer Kernel? (like 11xxxx etc.)

    UPDATE:

Forget it.. this comes when i start the 11xxx Recovery:

Ahh I see the MFG date is just a few months before the actual release so the factory wouldn't have the new CPU/GPU or whatever is in it that is pre-release. Mine is 03-03-2006 and came with 2258 on it and it was also in mint never used condition, it still runs nicely now no RROD.

At least you could run LINUX on it if you want too, but sucks you can't do anything new on it. Also I have found with those older recoveries Xbox1 homebrew will run.

Yes you can update it. You'll need to hack do a little hacking. Message me on IRC as you typically do and I'll help you out.
