Hi guys. Like most of you I am a retro gamer. I have recently been working on turning one of my 3 xboxs into a emulation station. So far the systems i have emulated on it 100% are...

    1) NES
    2) SNES
    3) N64
    4) GB,GBC,GBA
    5) Master System
    6) Game Gear
    7) Genesis
    8) 32X
    9) Sega CD
    10) Mame (arcade)
    11) DOS (386, 486)
    12) PlayStation

and a few that im sure im forgetting.

However I never have played the PC Engine or TurboGrafix16 or anything of Hudson or NEC. I want to emulate them but I need them defined by someone here. Are they all the same system with diffrent names? What are all the diffrent names that refer to them? What about the CD addon? If anyone can link me to a site with help or explain them to me that would be awsome. I dont think this breaks any rules but if it should Im sorry. Thanks for any help I can get.

Emulators for PCE/TG16 emulate both automatically. Heres a link.

http://www.zophar.net/consoles/xbox.html that place out to help out a lot. It has all possible emulators and theres even one PCE/TG16 emu that works with actual TG16CDs.

Thanks for the help guys. I have been working with the xbox emulator ported by xport and it can appantly do the normal games and the cd based games all with no problem. So I am looking forward to trying to get dracula X up and running on the xbox.

Zeograd's emulator, while good, still lacks a lot of features to make it a high level emulator. For that, you will need Magic Engine, a commercial emulator, which is amazingly good.

For Xbox, use that Medaphane thing. It emulates more accurately than Hugo-X. I also must recommend you checkout Lords of Thunder and Sapphire.

Yeah im modifiing Mednafenx(PCE) for teh xbox then I will be using that. Thanks for all the help fellas. I actually have a decent understanding of it now. Also what games should I look to emulate, as in what are the best games for the system weather they be the Card type or the cd type. Thanks again!
