    Hello to all,

I'm new to this forum, never knew of it's existence until today :S looks like i've been living under a rock or something lol

Well I found about this forum while searching for XDK Xbox 360 Jasper console.

I friend of mine gave me an "odd" Xbox 360, after googling I found out this is an XDK Xbox 360 and I suspect this a Jasper model because my friend told me that it's MFR date was 2009. However, someone tear off the back stickers and I only have the sticker with the serial number. I don't even know whats the amp amount needed to power it on, that sticker is also not there. The power brick does not have any sticker also. The power conector entrance at the back is indicated (in some pics I saw online) to be a jasper one.

The console has an attached "sidecar" with a 120gb hard drive in it. When I turned it on I saw a menu titled "Xbox 360 Development Kit".

Since I'm not a developer and want a retail Xbox 360 to play games, I am hoping you guys can confirm whats this XDK Xbox 360 Model because I don't know if that menu only appears on development units or its standard in all XDK consoles...

    How much is it worth?

    Hi,

    Tks for your feedback.

I listed this on ebay anyways. If it's not sold until tomorrow I am returning it...

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Well since I need to sell it quick, I have placed this devkit on auction @ Ebay, so if anyone's interested search for Xdk Xbox 360.

Hello! Welcome to the forum. I'll try to answer all your questions as best I can.

    * It is in fact a Jasper. It was produced some time after November 2008.
    * You can power the console with any retail power supply and most features will work. But to use the sidecar you will need a XDK power supply. They are 213 watts. They are a bit larger than retail PSU's.
    * The menu screen you are seeing is present on all XDK's (development kits and test kits). One of the main differences between development kits and test kits is the ability to poke memory on the fly.

The good thing about a development kit is that it can be made to run nearly any .xex! But it won't run retail games (without proper alterations) or connect to Xbox Live. For these reasons, I'm afraid it won't be of much use to you as you stated that playing retail is your main desire. I hope this helps! :)

    Tks for your help guys.

For some reason yesterday I made a reply to last comment and it's still not here because it was going to be approved by a mod first...

I would take it down from ebay ASAP, if Microsoft finds the listing they can make you send the kit to them. Just want to let you know that I'm very interested in purchasing the kit, hope you don't mind me asking where your friend got it from?

no-sticker = meant to be destroyed.

It will die soon or later.

Dump the HDD while you can.
