Hey guys i picked this up as a throw in with an ebay win and was wondering what it was exactly.

The board isn't branded with the Nintendo logo and it sits in backwards in the cart compared to normal carts, which leads me believe it's homemade. It also doesn't boot, which i figure is because it's missing the large chip that other carts have (I assume this is the ROM chip)

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm, from the looks of it this is possibly either a home made or made by a developer cartridge that is a debug cartridge. This is based on the connector in the cartridge, which based on its slots looks like a ribbion cable would go there feeding the code from the comp to the cart, though i could be wrong.

Well that would explain why it doesn't boot too, if it's waiting for data from an external source.
