Tried a quick search for an MSX LD list on google, to no avail.

No pics atm (will be able to get some tomorrow) - Description will have to suffice.

    - It seems to be a battleships game from the pictures. The cover has a picture of a cyborg admiral with sea and ships behind him.

Anyone know? And how much its worth, I'm really not familiar with MSX LD games.

    Cheers

The game isn't that rare and goes for Y6000 or so, but it's basically a souped up version of battle ships and uses footage from a NHK series of the same name but it's not really that great a game.

Spot on, thats the one. Have to agree doesn't look or sound a particularly great game.

Could someone tell me if it runs on a PAL PX-7 and LD player, or will it need an NTSC LD player and PX-7 (or a PAL PX-7 and NTSC LD player and vice versa..) Also is a Pioneer/Palcom LD player needed or will any brand do?

One more thing....translates as "The Sea of Japan large sea fight sea ゆ hippopotamus" - is there a 'proper' english name?

    Cheers

    Nihonkai Daikaisen - Umi Yukaba
Battle of the "large" Sea of Japan - Umi Yukaba

Umi Yukaba is one of the national anthem (the second ?) of Japan during the WW2 (or the anthem of the Imperial Navy). Does anyone can confirm this ?
