I have a feeling that the Wii Kiosks are one of those machines that doesn't have a genuine console on display, and the real machine is locked in the back. Can anybody confirm this?
it depends. That used to be the case in expos etc, but it's been a long time since all the wii units used in kiosks are actual retail units that accept ordinary retail discs. The existence of the blue light can be attributed to many things (such as a notification) and it's not on on most units I ve seen.
It's true that the thing on display isn't a real one, most kiosks in stores are even only regular DVD players that only look like Wii's (heard that from a mate of mine who workes in a gamestore). Not sure about the playable kiosks though.
I mean the non playable kiosks, on those (here in holland atleast) the light is always on. Damn now i want one even more just to check it out. Thanks for your replys guys !
