    1) go on psn with a certain FW (meaning latest)
    2) can they run blu-ray movies on certain FW (newer then 2.30)

I cannot do any of the above with my unit which was originaly on 1.90 now 2.30

anyone have any info on this? as I see on some places people say you cam do both of the above and others that say you cant.

Can they play Blu-Ray discs burned to BD-R? (With copy-protection removed)

We have a special PS3 Test that will _ONLY_ play Blu-Ray movies from BD-Rs (we are a Blu-Ray facility, not a game facility, so it won't load a game of any kind), but it still won't play retail Blu-Ray discs... I have to rip them and burn them on BD-R to make them work...

I was hoping it would allow playback from a USB source of some kind, but I haven't been able to make it do it...
