Can this DMG gameboy be saved ? My dad picked 2 up for $1. One works without sound, the other does not work and i can see why ? So can this gameboy be saved or ...

looks like leaked batteries to me, i would suggest giving them a good clean with isopropyl alcohol and then start the tedious game of checking traces and components for damage
