My Wii' s DVD drive is dying slowly and I really want to play my copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl. So I installed it on my 8 gb sd card through usbloader gx and when it was done, I clicked on the game to open it and play it. I clicked on play and it gave me a black screen and shut my Wii remote off. The only solution was to reset my Wii because the power button wasn't responding. I need some help.
Can't talk about this stuff. This forum is not about piracy, especially for anything made in like the past decade.
There's a million other sites that can help you with wii iso stuff. For legal use, I would recommend WODE or something similar.
I own the game, the drive just doesn't want to work anymore. Im not a pirate. I just wanna play brawl.
Well you should soft mod, and then it should not be an issue to load the game. I don't keep too current with Wii, but for mine I just bought a new laser. Then I read it would load faster from the mod, so I got WODE and while it cost more money I now have all the games in one spot. Sadly my wii just sits in my closet for over a year, it's really not much use to me in a long time.
I forgot to mention (which is a usual with me) the Wii is soft modded. Im just pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I can't play my Wii games when I install them on removable media. I can't play them in my drive either, as I said my disk drive is dead now. I can play installed GameCube isos, but not wii. Im willing to buy a new wii DVD drive right at the moment. Or this wode chip thing.
I've got a usb sd card reader and put it in usb port 0, so I fiddled with the settings and it worked like a charm. It detected my sd card as if it was a flash drive. But after that, I put my 8 gb flash drive in and that worked too.
So I'm sticking with a flash drive right now because the sd card reader likes to crash when I play online.
