Can you use a CDZ Power Supply on a Neo Geo CD ?

    Hey, I don't know off the top of my head, but if you have all the hardware with you, take a look at the power supply. Note the output V, output A and polarity.

    Look on the bottom of your NGCD. It should have the specs listed for what power supply it needs. Volts and polarity MUST match the power supply. It's A requirements must be equal to or less than the output on the power supply.

    Then you just have to make sure the plug physically fits.

    hi blotter , i dont have the consoles as yet im doing some detective work before purchasing.............


    i got from another forum the below specs , also the connector type is unknown to me if they match both CD and CDZ


    The CDZ power adaptor is rated as follows:

    *POWCD-J2*
    AC 100V 50/60Hz 38VA
    DC 5V 1A
    DC 10V 1A



    The CD Toploader is:

    *POWCD-J*
    AC 100V 50/60Hz 55VA
    DC 5V 2A
    DC 10V 1A

    i use the same power for the 3 neo geo (front top cdz)
