Yes I understood. I was in French Immersion (all subjects in french except gym/english) from kindergarten onwards for about eight years.

Sadly lack of practice has amde speaking/writing rusty now, but reading/comprehending is fine.

J'ai pris des lessons francais dans la lycee, quand j'aurait 12 bis 18 ans. Mais les plupart des peuples Hollandaises parlent Francais tres mauvais :smt043

What I was trying to say is that we all get French lessons in high school but most people - including me - forget it really fast. However, I'm still a bit better than most others thanks to my mother who holds French is high esteem as she is from Belgium where they learn French in elementary school )
