Awesome! I'll be heading to pick up some CD-Rs later today. I'm going to try to keep my head in the sand until then. Very cool so far. The music and atmosphere is excellent. Any idea how we go about picking up items once they're dropped? Also debug is activated by putting in another controller into any slot and pressing "start".
Looking at the surprisingly long preview video of the game on Unseen64's channel just surprises me more how far along this got before being cancelled. This proto had me thinking it didn't get further than this but it looks like they got a lot more environments. I wonder if any other builds will show up.
There must be a much more advanced build than this out there. as you as the unseen 64 video shows better textures, more areas and interaction.
That was my thought as well. I was wondering if I was missing something whenever I couldn't interact with anything. I liked using the Free Cam and I would really like to see more of this game.
Holy mackerel, finally! After so many years. I don't care it's not the whole game, I've waited years to play this. Thanks for the tip Luiz!
I'll be trying that out soon. I was wondering what would happen if you shot something. Shame you can't interact with anything but I'm very happy a debug free movement cam was included. Don't want to ruin anything for anybody but the upstairs to the one house by the opening sure creeped me out. Very cool.
No, it doesn't boot on CD without a boot disc. At least my assumption, didn't get to try till late last night but it wouldn't boot just by itself. Gotta burn a boot disc that'll boot backups tonight when I get home, I just gotta try this!
Yes, it's self boot. You need to boot it from the Dreamcast bios screen. The game will not load directly from switching on the system.
Huh, guess I'm reburning Edit: There we go, just needed to use disc juggler I guess. While not massive, there is still a good little area you can traverse. I also like the HUD on the VMU, lots of stats going on there, they definitely had some cool plans.
Just checked it out. Some major D2 vibes going on. Looked great...sad it was never released. It's self booting confirmed from Dreamcast menu
