Hello again. I recently acquired one of these and I'd like to display it but also preserve it. I'm quite new to displaying so any tips would be appreciated (lighting, temperature, humidity, etc).

    Thanks in advance!

Cotton will dry rot, so you need to have a small amount of humidity.

Get acid free paper and store it in a hat box.

Thanks for the tip; if I get around to safe-storing it, I'll stick it in a box, wrap it in acid-free paper and stick some of those silica packets in that lower humidity.

Any tips for displaying specific to cotton? Apart from dehumidifying it somehow.

    Don't use silica.

Cotton is very easy to preserve.

Just keep it away from light, put it in some tissue acid free, and get a hat box.

It will become unwearable after about 25 years, the cotton will tear.
