i just want RE 5. no more remakes and rail shooters. gimme 5.

 

I've been hoping for a RE2 remake for some time, but sadly it looks like these PS2/GC ports are much more interesting commercially speaking.

 

I am sure Capcom have realised that people do like buying not new pieces of twine.

 

I don't mind remakes/ports of old games and did like the resi 1 remake for the GC but we don't need 2nd remake or port just becuase its on the wii and may have specific wii, moition sensing controls.

The fun of a game is when you rember playing it on a specific console and remember how it played and what not but remaking games for newer consoles is good sometimes if it makes the game better but normally it just becomes slightly annoying that they could be concentrating and putting all their effort into a brand new game like resi 5 instead of porting an old game that we've played before.

 

They are doing this because it's probably cheap to port and add those features, then making profit.

I don't mind them re-releasing RE0 - actually, I've been trying to get ahold of the GC version for some time now to no avail. As long as it's priced cheaply like the Wii version of RE4 then I'll probably get it. Honestly, I like the old-style RE games much better than RE4.

BTW, does anybody know if this is going to get a western release?

And I must be honest, I dont mind this because I did like the old style RE's way better than 4.... but I would really like it if they actually Remade RE 2, 3, and Code Veronica. Now that would be a sexy buy. :nod:

 

I DO mind for the simple fact that Game Cube games WORK on the Wii. Why bring the same bloody thing out that we can already buy!! Make a full face lifted version of Code Veronica if anything. Yeah, There's a Game Cube port of the Dreamcast's uncut version but that looks just the same as the Dreamcast version.

what drives me crazy about this is that the wii and the gamecube run the same hardware besides the bluetooth devices.

basically capcom just took the source added the bluetooth librarys and rereleased the game, there just trying to make an easy dollar...bastards..and it will work too.

 

How the fuck will the Wiimote work with this is my question. I'm interested.
