Capcom Generations 5 (Saturn) - US/PAL release?

Several sites such as this one say that Capcom Generations 5 (which had the first three SF2 games on it) was sold as "Street Fighter Collection 2" outside of Japan, ie here:

However I can find no reference to this release, either as a ROM or even cover scan on Google. Anybody know if the articles are wrong? If it does exist I'd like to find it.

 

They're wrong. The Japanese release was sold in some US stores as-is via Tommo distribution.

It's a straight copy-paste from the Wikipedia article, which doesn't differentiate between the Saturn and PS versions — the PS version was released in the West.

 

"Street Fighter Collection 2" is the legit US PS1-version of Capcom Generation 5, but the Saturn-version never left Japan. Capcom Generation 1-4 was sold in Europe in a 4-disc case.

 

It's a shame they didn't put the original arcade version of Final Fight on any of these.

 

Final Fight is on the PS2 collection "Capcom Classics Collection".
