I need some help with my cheapo capture card.

I bought this one at a sale because it could come in handy someday and now the day has come.

I just moved and I dont want to stall the new TV all the time with my gaming and would like to play and record some clips on my pc.

Problem... I dont have the software for this card, WIN7 seems to have installed it correctly, I can get the tuner's signal using "open device" on MPC, I can barely get it to work with Dscaler because it's so unstable, I can capture fine with VirtualDub

Anyone know of any options or generic capture card software?
I haven't messed with capture cards in years and I have no idea about what software is available nowadays.
I just want to watch the SVideo input on this thing, plug a random console on the Svideo/composite in and play it on my PC screen.

If it's a real cheapo cap card like a $13 usb cable to composite/svideo, then real time viewing might not be possible. You can use virtualdub to view the source and that's pretty lightweight so if the lag is unplayable on vdub you'll probably have to upgrade the cap card.

Vdub is great if you know a lot about codecs and video encoding. It can be dumbed down too if you find the right guides.
