OOoooOo. I wonder if the XDK will take screens a videos with the stuff used for RTH. Surely it needs something more. I recall doing debug with an xbox 1 and requiring an xbdm.dll Those of you with dev kits can maybe help us get it working on jtags?
This is the same problem I am having. So long as I stay in the dash and record, it's fine. But the minute I launch a game and then stop recording, it acts like I aborted the recording and goes back to the root command prompt and leaves all 3 .xbm copies on the dev.
Just start recording after you launch the game, and stop recording before you go to dash or back to launcher. It takes forever after its done recording though. iirc it took like an hour or two after I recorded about 3 minutes of halo lol.
Hi Guys, I would really appreciate if someone could help me. here is my problem. I have a recent rgloader Devkit on a jasper with the retail 120GB HDD. I created a DEVKIT folder and of course the filesystems folder. Everything is running fine but I have some issues with video capture. When I run the prompt in cmd the capture process starts normally, and when I finish the .xbm-s load up to my pc and it starts encoding to wmv. Here is the issue. If I record 2 minutes (games run on external HDD ) it creates 3 pieces of xbms, like test0.xbm, test1.xbm and test2.xbm, which appear in the DEVKIT folder, and they are around 10-or 12 GB if xbmovie merges them ( 12 exactly). This snaller 4GB xbm file can be encoded and it works. I f I record 10 minutes for example, I can only find the above mentioned 3 xbms, with the total of 12GB, but that's impossible since it should be around 50 or 60 GB. When the ready 12GB is encoded I get an error message and it fails. Smaller pieces work, biggers don't. Can anyone tell me why it is so? Is there a problem with my HDD, ( I have around 65 GB of free space on it ) or settings or I don't know. Thanks for the answers guys I really hope you can help me.
