Hi everyone! I've got an VRS Slot car "motor driver" for Carrera race tracks. It's a thing which makes you able to connect 2 GBA's to your track, and control the cars with your gameboy (You do need a Carrera GBA game for that though). I bought this thing some years ago, and I can't find it anywhere on internet, so my question is, is this thing rare, uncommon of common? I can't really find a decent photo, but if you want, I'll make some of mine Thanks in advance! ~Matthijs
Yeah, pictures would be interesting to see. I don't think anyone knows what you have which is why there are no responses to this thread. Yakumo
Okay here are some pic's! Front of the box Back of the box The inside. Again, apologies for the bad quality
Try booting the GBA into wait mode or without a cart. It's posible the track will force a boot image into the GBA via link port and does not require software on a gba cart.
From what i can make out you need Carrera Power Slide GBA game which will allow you to hook up 2 GBA's to control slot cars on a Carrera Go slot car track, you can also use 2 normal Carrera Go controls so you can have 4 cars racing. The GBA will display lap times and other information. There are some of these sets on German eBay site, although I cant see the game for sale anywhere. Quite an obscure item I guess.
Yep, it does exactly what crissbwoy said. And IF it's rare, good thing i picked up 2 sets (I've got two copies of he game too) Thanks guys
