Is there a simple way to pull the pins on the saturn cart slot so they make a snugger fit? my 'this is cool' sat doesnt detect my 5 in 1 cart unless i hold the cart forward, which gets kinda old. (ps, thanks @ racketboy for fast mod shipment which allowed me to finally mod this sat)

Heres a query for you about the Saturn cart slot. I have a Model 1 PAL Saturn that cannot use the cart slot at all. It regocnises the cart slot and that a cartridge is there (as it boots the AR 5 in 1), but cannot do anything when it comes to game saving. Note, the saving is with an actual save cartridge, not the AR, as I know the AR doesn't support direct saving from in game.
My two cents worth... If your AR is working fine, then the cartridge slot might not be broken. It might just be that your save cart isn't connected very well, while your AR is. A reason for this can be that 3rd party carts sometimes have a thicker PCBs than the original carts from Sega. After a while, original carts start having problems being properly connect if thicker carts are used a lot. In addition to cleaning the save cart, what you can try is to not fully insert the cart. Sometimes this cause the cart to be better connected to the cart slot. CF
