I'm thinking about getting a flash cartridge for these. Doubt: the Sd2Snes is expensive (despite what you have) and the other option is the Super Everdrive (its price is set but has less support). On the other hand I see that you have more updates Sd2Snes Super Everdrive (this is true right?). Apart from the games, I want a cartridge of these to play music in their format Snes SPC. Another question, the Super Everdrive cartridge has no SPC music player right? And cartridge Sd2Snes, is that you have a music player for SPC, I have no confirmation that this is music that is played or play it emulated the internal circuitry of the SNES. I appreciate the possible answers! Thank you!
The SPC player on the sd2snes plays the music using the SNES hardware, the same as if you were playing the game, minus the game. I don't actually own a Super EverDrive, but as far as I know, it doesn't have any kind of built in SPC player.
Nope no player on my Super Everdrive with DSP-1 support from Stoneage Gamer and I just bought it with all the latest OS updates etc. I did trade mine out from the SD2SNES as it is a great cart and all but the "extras" aren't worth the $120+ extra you have to pay for a handful of games.
