Hello, Does anyone know if Castlevania Legends will be in color if it's played on Game Boy Player? For example, playing Castlevania Legends on Super Game Boy the game will be in color. Thanks!
According to this page, Castlevania Legends on Supergameboy is not in color. Simply there is a change in the color palette using a different one in each level as you can see here: https://retro-video-gaming.com/2012/01/17/castlevania-legends-game-boy/ The gameboy player uses the same chip as the gameboy advance, so you can consider it a GBA. None of the enhancements of the super game boy are usable on gameboy player but the player itself uses different colors for different items, like backgrouds and sprites. You can have a look here:
I found a video on youtube about my question: As you can see, the colors are better on the Super Game Boy. For the moment my verdict is that Game Boy games will play better on Super Game Boy 2 (the speed is like on the Game Boy and the pallet colors are better than Game Boy Player)
