That is insane. Just like they point out, it's just a retelling of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I swear this Anderson jerk probably only heard Castlevania was about vampires and saw it as another film to make without taking into consideration it actually has it's own history and timeline before he just decided it will just be another typical dracula film. WTF would Dracula invite Simon to stay at his castle? That is so laughable. I don't recall the Castlevania Dracula ever inviting guests over to stay the night. He's only revived every hundred of years, he's not gonna just invite Simon over to eat turkey :banghead:And I think they coulda worked wonders with the Shaft character. A servant for Dracula that plays a part in the story underneath coulda helped, but instead he only takes a couple of the main characters and uses them for his own retelling of the typical Dracula. Pathetic
