:crying: I wish they did. It sounded like guys yelling down a hallway to a pc mic.

It is probably compressed to minimize download time.

I also wonder how they will offer a trial version of this. Chop off some parts of the level or something? :)

Im not really into the castlevanias anyway. Ive only REALLY played some GBA castlevania and i thought it sucked :) Played it for a few hours and then just got stuck in some giant maze-castle. After walking around clueless for a few hours i tossed the cart aside and never touched it since.

trial version on this one would be easy, just end it after the opening fight with Dracula right after the monologue setup / shot of the castle and title.

Or they could go a tad farther and just kill it after your first encounter with death...or yet further the first boss fight!

the gba versions weren't castlevania to me to be honest.

I started playing the series back on the NES (the MSX game, Castlevania 1)

They will. All XBLA games have a demo.

    --edit--
Actualy esentualy when you even download the demo. You are downloading the full game. Just when you purchase it, your 360 will get a license to validate the full game.

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is no 50mb rule. Most companies like to keep their arcade games under that size so memory card users can play them. Sooner or later there will be a hard drive only game.

Voice Acting? Since when did SotN have voice acting? I haven't played my disc in about 4 years, but I don't remember that feature.

Edit: (after watching the movies) WTF! Was this in the European version?

Japan had Japanese voice actors of a much better quality. The English voice actors are more a... acquired taste.

Impossible for them not too. The 360 cannot display the game in it's native resolution. "Fucked over?" Maybe not for some. For others though, well.. we wouldn't expect them to be perfect on the 360 anyway I guess, so not as much of a letdown.

Thats one thing that was such a let-down with SF2 too. Looked like i was running MAME with some ultra-super softening superSAI 2x crap or whatever its called. I want to see damn pixels not some super-smooth filter :)

edit: yes i mean Streetfighter II on XBLA

I think he's referring to Street Fighter 2 on Xbox Live.

I don't mean in that sence. If you played the contra arcade port or hell any of the other midway arcade game (on xbla of course), they changed some of the graphics in the games for stupid reasons. Like in Contra they changed the explosions.

Insted of trying to "Modernize" the game they just left the gfx as is. To me that is great! Also it seems the Enhance mode is just some form of filtering to improve it visualy on newer screens (but the mode is opitional and not forced).
