 $10 and you can play it on your ps3 & psp, share with 4 friends and transfer saves between ps3/psp. Sucks its $10 but atleast it's a good game and it's probably $10 because of it being $10 on XBLA. I wonder if this means japan is getting more ps1 games today. :love2: (damn, only got 600 yen left for 1 more game, yes I sadly wasted 5,400 yen on ps1 games).
It does but if the PSP version does indeed get enhancements to SOTN like i've been hearing, then people are probably less likely to buy the PSN version after the release of X chronicles.
Eh, oh well. I have the 360 version. It offers achievements and visual enhancements. Guessing the PSN version only comes in box mode on both the PS3 and PSP, which is sort of eh...
Actualy I wont buy this since I also have the XBLA version (which i'm sadly not playing a whole lot) and later will get X Chronicles for psp. Also PS3 supports scaling of ps1 games (including Ps1 PSN downloads which are just running off ps1 emulation) to 720p/1080i/1080p. PSP supports ps1 games in native res, fit screen (full screen verticaly), full screen, and full screen horizontaly with vertical overscan (it crops the top and bottom till the image is 480 horizontaly with a 1:1 scale). Ps3 also supports a simple filtering. Nice thing tho is the PSN version comes with a high res scan of the ps1 manual.
Ah, I've never tried to put a PSN game on PSP (Mostly due to the shitty memory stick I have, need to buy a new one soon). It just seemed like they were in box mode, since all the screenshots from the media always had black bars to the side when showing Playstation games on PSP.
IM BUYING A PS3!! :banghead: seriously whats up with this lame re-releasing games already available for the system and passing it off as big news, get to work on the actual ps3 library you wankers!! never would i have thought this turn of next-gen would come to mean rehasing old shite..
Those visual enhancements are such bullshit on the 360. Its like that with nearly every game where they just apply some terrible smoothing on the sprites and call it enhanced.
I was going to get the xbla version, but I've decided to wait for chronicle's on psp. I will say though that the smoothing does help out a lot when you play it on a monitor or hd tv.
Am I missing something here? Most of the games you could physically buy second hand for less then the price of the downloaded game and you get something that you could sell in the future and things to touch and look at... I should have a signature with PS3 games I own... (9 now if anyone is interested...)
