Okay I have a quick question. I have a Castlevania Vampire's Kiss SNES PAL proto. I haven't had a chance to play it yet because it is PAL. But I have a chance to trade it towards a real Earthbound NES Proto. I was wondering what people think the difference in price is. Or since Earthbound has been dumped if I should keep Castlevania?

I already have a Earthbound SNES Review Cart and the M3 disks. So Earthbound is definitely tempting me. It would complete my collection so to speak.

    Thanks

I would say just keep castlevania. If earthbounds proto (the one you are thinking of getting) has already been dumped then how do you know for sure that the proto you are trading for isnt just a rom put on a nes cart that someone has slapped a old looking sticker on. What I mean is that it could be a fake someone made with a rom and is trying to pass it off as a real proto cart. IDK how hard it would be to do that but it dosent seem super difficult.

Does the Castlevania proto have a label on it that tells the build or the date? If so, could you post it?

Disabling the lockout on a snes is trivial for PAL play. At least on NTSC snes'.
